Terms & Conditions - Purchase Agreement

Please read the below carefully. Reading and understanding our Terms & Conditions is your sole responsibility. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and understand and agree to these terms and conditions.

Orders

You can secure a booking date (date of the wedding/event after which we should expect to receive your flowers) on our calendar by submitting an order and paying a non-refundable down payment of 25% or pay in-full. A $150 non-refundable deposit will be collected to book a date without product selection. Upon receipt of payment of the invoice we will record your order and booking date on our calendar.

Orders include the preservation service for the flowers needed to fulfill your order solely. Inventoried flowers, if needed, may be purchased from us. We try to preserve more than we need, so we have enough to fulfill your order, and to be able to pick the best blooms that will go into your piece(s), often times these extra florals may allow you to upgrade or add on to your order. If you choose to not upgrade/add on to your order, those extra flowers will not be sent.

Gift Certificates are available for both purchases in our store and for payment toward orders. The purchase of a gift certificate does not secure a booking date. Gift certificates are valid for up to one year from date of purchase.

Pricing and Payment

We reserve the right to change our pricing without notice. If you choose to change the size or add additional pieces to your order those changes and/or additions and features will be charged at our current pricing. The size of the requested artwork must be decided upon and finalized by the time we receive the fresh florals for preserving.

Frames and shipping is not included in the initial quoted price and you are responsible for covering all fees for shipping to and from our facilities.

Final invoices will be issued after the design review if any changes (upgrades/add-ons) are made and if shipping applies (unless you’re picking up). All invoices must be paid in full prior to the artwork going into production.

Artwork turnaround is an estimated 4-6-months from the arrival of the flowers. The Estimated completion will vary depending on High-Volume Wedding Season, Payment Plans and any Quality Check Delays. With an estimated completion, customers should not expect to have completed artwork exactly 4-6-months to the date the flowers were shipped.

Completed pieces must be paid for and picked up or shipped within two weeks of completion. We will not ship or allow any orders that have not been paid in full to be picked up. Artwork left in our care for over two weeks will be subject to our storage fee of 10% of the total order. If after 15 days no payment has been received, Azelie and The Little Flower has the right to cancel all orders.

If the order is terminated for any reason by either party, you are responsible for payment of invoices delivered and fees incurred up to the date of termination. Failure to complete your payments or forms within requested period will result in order cancellations.

All payments made remain non-refundable with no exceptions. There will be an excessive shipping cost for out of the country/Hawaii/Alaska orders.

If any payment is not timely received, all payments shall become immediately due. If payment is not completed within 15 days of our notice, we have the right to terminate your order.

Additional Fees
Adding Inventory Flowers:  From time to time a floral bouquet may need to have additional flowers added due to damage, an upgrade in artwork sizing or various other reasons. We try to accommodate those needs from our in-house floral inventory, but on occasion have to purchase florals outside in order to complete the request. We charge for inventory or sourced florals by the piece or stem, and the prices vary depending on style or type.

Design Fee: You will get two design changes included in your purchase. Additional design changes will be an additional $100 per design.

Storage Fee: Upon notification to you that an order has been completed and ready for pick-up, if you do not pick up within a two-week period, 10% of the total order will be added as a storage fee.

Bouquet or Floral Designs

When your flowers are ready to be processed (approximately 6-12 weeks following their receipt by us), you will be asked to complete our Design Review Form. The Design Review Form will be issued from the following email after we receive the flowers:

azelielittleflower@gmail.com

It is advised to mark this email as “safe”, so the emails are properly delivered to your inbox. If we do not receive the Design Review Form back from you within 2 weeks following its delivery to you, we reserve the right to terminate your order or to complete the piece as we deem appropriate for the flowers delivered to and processed by us whereupon, you will be responsible for payment of the full invoice.

Following your receipt of the Design Review Form, you can schedule a 15-minute phone consultation to go over the details of your preserved bouquet piece.

You are welcome to book a date without making a design choice at that time. However, please keep in mind that designs incorporating an invitation will need to be 12x12 or larger. In addition, some design choices may incur additional fees not included in the initial order.  Designs including charms, ribbons or any items that may be too thick to fit into a standard frame with double matting will not be included in your piece. Only items 1/8" or thinner will be pressed with your flowers. If your bouquet does not have greenery and consists of only same-colored flowers or flowers of only the same type, we may add greenery from our inventory to give dimension to your piece. Please do not send unnecessary items or overages such as ribbons, photos, charms, heirloom items or additional florals. Azelie and The Little Flower will not be held responsible for the return of unrequested items, or items not prearranged to incorporate into your finished artwork.

Understanding Flower Preservation
Not all flowers preserve the same--some will look different preserved than when they were fresh. While the overall look of your flowers will remain the same, you should expect color changes on most of your flowers. Most flowers tend to dry with a darker hue. For example, red roses turn burgundy, white flowers turn ivory, white roses tend to brown, hot-pink flowers turn purple, hydrangeas usually don't retain their shape, and some flowers show translucent spots on the petals due to bruising when they were fresh. Natural fading will eventually occur over time and is considered normal. We color-enhance very light, all-white or pale-colored flowers to help them keep their pigment longer.
All our products are hand-made. We recommend to not display them in direct sunlight; avoid moisture and extreme temperatures.

Although we strive to use the latest techniques, state-of-the-art materials and strategies to ensure the color and overall quality of your piece is the best possible, flower discoloration is to be expected when working with natural flowers. While our preservation methods will help protect your flowers, please keep in mind that the artwork contains nature. Know that aging is natural, colors may fade or change and petals, flower particles or pollen may fall. Handling your finished piece carefully is of extreme importance as preserved flowers may be thin and fragile. It is possible that flowers will break or tear with age. Preserved flower art should be kept away from direct sunlight, extreme heat/cold and humid areas. Do not leave in box for long period of time, the pieces need to have a good air flow.

Preserved floral art handcrafted by Lailani Gachalian / Azelie and The Little Flower are creative works of art. Art is always subjective and therefore, an artistic interpretation. Please be aware of this when working with Azelie and The Little Flower, or any artist, it is advised to study the artist, review and approve their showcased artwork before commissioning the artist to produce for you. In saying that, please understand there are no refunds or returns based on a subjected refusal of a finished piece.

All items that are sent to us beyond flowers will be documented upon arrival rather received or not. Not all items can/will be used in the artworks and used within the piece upon customer's request. Use of these items will discussed within the design form.

Artists will make an effort to recreate your bouquet as close as possible to your uploaded photos, but note that an exact replica is not possible. Some flowers colors' can be restored better than others and a perfect match should not be expected.

Damage to Flowers: In the event of damage, theft, vandalism or other casualty or to other causes beyond our control such as, without limitation, acts of God, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, fires, floods or the like, while your flowers are in our possession, Azelie and The Little Flower shall not be held liable for any amount beyond payments made through the date of such loss.
